A precision microphone inside FerroTune continuously samples the air around it. Every vibration — a bass kick, your voice, a piano chord, background TV — is captured and converted into an electrical signal. The louder and richer the sound, the stronger the response.

That signal powers a hidden electromagnet behind the glass sphere. As the magnet pulses in sync with the audio, the ferrofluid spikes, ripples, collapses and reforms — hundreds of times per second. Every shape is unique. Every moment unrepeatable.

Does FerroTune make sound itself?
No — FerroTune is a visual display, not a speaker. It reacts to sound that already exists around it. Place it next to your speaker, TV or simply speak to it.
Do I need an app or Bluetooth?
No app, no Bluetooth, no pairing. FerroTune uses a built-in microphone to pick up sound from the air. It works the moment you take it out of the box.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 24 hours per charge. It recharges via USB-C and takes approximately 2 hours to fully charge from empty.
Is the ferrofluid safe?
Yes. The ferrofluid is made from nano iron particles in mineral oil and is completely non-toxic. It is permanently sealed inside a tempered glass vessel — it cannot leak or spill under normal use. Safe for ages 10+.
Which finish should I choose — Black or White?
The Black (Ash Grey) finish pairs beautifully with modern, minimal or dark setups. The White (Natural Bamboo) finish suits warmer, natural or Scandinavian-style spaces. Both look exceptional in person.
